Bucks MHST
Mental Health Support Team (MHST)
One in 10 children between the ages of 5-16 years, or three children in every classroom, have a diagnosable mental health difficulty.
Bucks Mental Health Support Team (MHST) supports children and young people who have difficulties with their mental health and emotional wellbeing, including anxiety, low mood and challenges with behaviour, confidence and self-esteem. We provide evidence-based therapeutic support both individually and in groups to young people and parents.
The MHST offers training to school professionals to help them identify mild to moderate mental health and emotional wellbeing difficulties in their students. We offer workshops on supporting students in school who are showing anxiety, low mood, self-harm, and other mental health difficulties.
